How to request NIF online from outside Portugal

– signature recognition;
– tax representation for a period of 12 months (01 year), which may be renewed;
– correspondence received from AT – Tax and Customs Authority scanned and sent via registered e-mail.

To apply for your NIF and contract the services, follow the steps:

Step #1: Create an account on our website;
Step #2: Fill the application;
Step #3: Conclude the payment in the “shopping cart”;
Step #4: Send your documents (passport and proof of address – the proof of address must be in Latin alphabet in case that it is not and it must be translated. And it is required to be from a country you have legal residency; you can use a utility bill, bank statement, official mail or driver’s license);
Step #5: Wait for the e-mail with letter/declaration written by our legal team;
Step #6: Upload the signed letter/declaration;
Step #7: Wait for the e-mail with instructions;
Step #8: Wait for an e-mail with the NIF document.
