These rural Portuguese Properties always seem problematic, buildings strict size regulations, Electricity poles literally sitting beside your property but you can't withdraw from it, neighbors strolling through your property, i have even seen land plots divided in half to give access to a main road why not just around the property? Seems owners have very little rights.

Nice size for retirees or single person, I think the positives far out weight the negatives, sure with good neighbour relations, and checking what the legal parameters are this could work for someone. If you look you can always find cheaper land, but location does count in some of the pricing and the state of buildings, and amount of wells etc, some are complete ruins then you paying just for land.

Have been looking at couple properties in that area and they are larger acreages and less money. Do like that area. have you got more info about the local area and the town ? Castelo Branco?
Is that asbestos on the roofs?What problems could be with the unregistred building?And another problem is the comm Tower being very close.
In my opinion 35k is risky investment.

What is the name of the town?
Seen the price for the whole its way too high. Comparable peaces of land you can buy for less then 5000. That would make 31000 for the 'illegal' buildings. In which your prohibited to live. Beside of that there is the two roofs with 'Asbestos'. Are there special regulations for removing and disposal of asbestos in Portual? Beside the prices it is a nice peace of terrain.

The neighbor may insist that his easement is wider than just a footpath. That, in addition to getting permission to tear down some of the old structures and permission to build a dwelling could involve expensive legal work. It's a nice little parcel, but there must be others with more appeal and fewer problems. The drone footage helps a lot!
Νο !!!The price is very high -tell to the owner.There are many problems.Buldings no registerd/make fence to the neighbour /rebuilt the buldings/ electricity poll beside/ and the land is small piece.The vallue of this property is not bigger than 15.000-18.000 euro unfortunatelly.
