That is most definitely on my list for good swimming spots, I see loads on here but tend to be small spots where people are just sitting still and cooling off. I swim anything up to 5 miles so need somewhere bigger with a little variety.

Stunning places. I love the dressed trees… You can't have your dogs? Silly! 🙁 On weekends people rush to Supermarkets and bookshops, etc to buy what their kids need to school. It has just begun, and goes up to middle December. Including kindergartens and high Schools, etc. People didn't vanish, locals are few, many that were there during Summer Holidays, were from other places of Portugal and other countries, and portuguese immigrants, coming home to be with their families, and so on.

"Everyone's been killed by nerve gas" LOL! Too funny. Nice peaceful places, the shame is part of the fire danger was inadvertently introduced for good reason but with unforeseen consequences- the eucalyptus. They crowd out native species and are adapted to a fire regime, part of the reason they have the flammable oils and burn quickly. Nice video, as always.
