  3. Alex, this is absolutely a fantastic and essential vlog. I seen previously how ur farm was invaded by fire. see you have only 4.5k followers but to be honest any one in Portugal who portuguse is weak and English is better would appreciation this. I know it is a topic some people would ignore and want the service to be provided. A small suggestion would be the involvement of the bombersderios( spelling) who speaks good English to recommend preventive measures.( Fire cuts maybe you could give more ) On that point farmer for fun little Joe does subtitles in Portuguese. Maybe others could do subtitles in other European languages. Finally I love this one…… Fire drills at 4am thank you and stay safe

  4. Thank you, a very worthwhile video. While its not a difficult process it would be easy to make a simple mistake and damage a part or have something that doesn't work just when you need it. Very clear and well explained video 👍👌👍

  5. God this man has a wealth of knowledge, please tell me that once I come across to buying my plot of land in central porragal you will be available for some info 😁

  6. I love how unapologetic you are in your criticism of Chinese manufactured products. In my experience they are absolute garbage. Unfortunately they are also unavoidable in this society that we have created.

  7. Sorry I haven't been in touch…I’m still dealing with trauma drama, but I’m getting it all sorted. Your demonstration was brilliant! You always know how to do things. I love your DIY videos. You’re all set, but I hope you don’t have to use it. Take care.

  8. Very well done! Excellent work, Alex and all. Congrats and very many best wishes to Jana & Oli!

This video speaks volumes about your compassion for your entire local and viewing community. 💖 Thank you.

  9. Hi, everyone. Great informative video, hands on and a good tip to upgrade fittings. It is heating up and as you said the sun is hotter. Alex your so generous in giving your tips, information and lessons from life. Thankyou for sharing,I hope you had a cold beer after that. Glad your lass got the land sorted, stay safe everyone.

  10. Another great advantage in using standard quick fittings is that IF the firefighters turn up they can continue from the hose you already have laid out or/and switch pumps to one of theirs. (I checked going to my local "bombers" with the fittings I had)

  11. Fantastic informative video, and one that could and would save lives.
Great collaboration where one family helps our the other and help is returned.
Let’s hope and pray that the fire engine is not needed.

  12. That put a fair bit of water out ,quite a reasonable distance . so if there is a fire you could drench the surrounding area and hope that stops the fire well before it gets too near the house / Add a wheelbarrow to move it round quick and your sorted !
