Rafael “Raffy” Soler was born in Manila, Philippines in 1967. He has been living in Spain for over 30 years, first in Madrid and now in Malaga, where he resides with his wife and 2 children. He has also lived in in Morocco, the United States, Italy, and the United Kingdom.

While in Madrid, Raffy worked as translator at the Philippine Embassy at a time when many Filipinos were legalizing their immigration status in Spain.
Raffy has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in international sales positions in renowned hotel chains in Spain. He also was tourism manager for the Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian markets for the well-known fashion outlet company Bicester Village Collection, based in Oxfordshire.

He speaks English, Tagalog, Spanish, French, Italian and Moroccan and has traveled professionally to over 47 countries around the globe.

After a successful career in the hospitality industry, Raffy created CONSIGO Concierge Services in 2021 to offer his expertise on Spain to the most discerning travelers. Consigo’s services include bespoke tourism products, real estate intermediation, soft-landing for new residents and tourism consultancy.
