Beautiful islands are not only the ones with coconut trees or coral reefs. Madeira does offer a different perspective of what a paradise truly can be. It's a mixture of a beach and mountain destination with so much to offer and impecable service in what concerns accomodation and gastronomy. I'm really impressed. Madeira entered my bucket list.

Absolutely Fabulous Madeira…. 101 to add to the amazing list.
Hire a Renault Twizzy from City Bubbles and head up the mountain and through the long tunnel to Curral das Freiras – Valley if the Nuns.
Have lunch at a restaurant where they will charge up your electric buggy and then wander the village – before heading to the old road for a spectacular view back over the valley.
