  1. The only problem is that Asia is sooooo far. I flew 14 hours to Beijing China and another 5 hours to Thailand. It was my first time I experienced real jet lag. I agree on the self insurance thing; currently I am on Obamacare but as soon as I move out of USA I will self insure myself. The only risk is having a heart attack while you are in USA and then you are screwed with medical bills close to 100k. yeah exactly.

  2. What part of KL is this? I will tell some of my family and friends to watch this video. How far from Kuchai? Such a nice place for the price. Wife told me this morning that one is not required to mask while walking around in the open air public and when you get there and are found to be positive you only have to stay in quarantine for 4 days now. She is presently in a VERY BIG movie shoot right now. Very large production. I will look at the link and see where it is. TNX so much for this video.

  3. Hi! Great timing, as I am headed to KL via MNL tomorrow (Monday) and will arrive late night, and will be there for a week. I am an avid follower of your videos & blog, and your previous KL video was a great help to me in planning my Philippines "visa hop" trip. I have been to KL 2x before and loved it! I would absolutely love to meet you two if you are still there… to grab a bite or coffee. I'm a vegetarian, so I will check out the vegan restaraunt in your video! Please let me know if we could meet up sometime this week!

  4. You previously mentioned that there are advantages traveling with a gf with a Malaysian passport. Did you premeditate to date a girl from Malaysia who did you just luck out and found out the advantages after you started to travel with Qiang

  5. $13 a night for that? how? did you rent for the month, perhaps $400 a month :). makes me want to move somewhere cheaper… housing in the US is just getting shockingly expensive 🙁

  6. Hello guys nice to see you again. Are you providing links to how you went about finding affordable lodging when you travel SE Asia? I'm on my way soon another year or so. I need the assistance to find the bargains you show us in your vids. Thanks and safe travels

  7. Good for you with your 'preventive health plan'. You should do a video with something like a check-list of what should be done to self insure. Blood test every year? Dermatologist 1/ yr. Etc etc. Insurance costs are going to explode much higher as demographics if old people surge for health care.

  8. I thought you guys were in the Philippines? Maybe I am loosing my mind but I thought you just arrived in the Philippines a few weeks ago (maybe less)??? Great video, your videos are getting better all the time!!!

  9. Great video! And thank you for sharing. The more I travel, the more I reframe my question. The question is no longer why so many other cities are so inexpensive to travel through. At least for me, the REAL QUESTION is why the United States is so expensive to live in – and this could be applied to northern Europe and Canada as well. I'm a U.S. citizen and the services granted to us in the United States absolutely do not warrant the incredible high cost of living there.
