Our walk today is in downtown Funchal on the Island Of Madeira. The walk starts at the Mercado dos Lavradores (Farmer’s Market) and winds through the center of town. We go through two different parks and past the casino towards Lido.
About us we are from the USA and have moved to the beautiful Island of Madeira in Portugal. We are very grateful to have this opportunity. We have put together this channel to talk about our journey. As you will see we have no clue what we are doing and hope you will ask questions about our journey, provide positive advise and support us along the way.

You have to love the plant material on Madeira Island it is wonderful!
My wife and I are planning a trip to Porto May 20 – June 4, also Madeira in August and then make up our minds as where to live in Portugal when I retire in 2023
I plan to move there in January 2023.
Sir I would like to let you know that you should say that you are living in Madeira Island, the people of Madeira Island would be offended when you always start the videos saying that you live in Portugal and after you say that you are in Madeira Island, remember one thing you live in Madeira Island, the Islanders ate not to found of the main land, I am from Madeira Island but I have nothing to do of Portugal.
