  1. We need players are committed and willing to die for us S3n . We need the best and we don't care if they are committed or not. We've all seen Maguire, he loves the game but the game no dey like am . He is committed but he is shambolic

  2. The current Ghana team may not be complete, especially in the scoring side. But one thing they currently have which should not be tampered with, is their commitment to the task at hand. With such mentality, a team is automatically very formidable with much tenacity.

That is something that makes champions.

  3. At the world cups, what seperates the top countries from the average ones is the quality of their bench and the tactics. Making the right decision at the right time. Is Otto Addo able to make substitutions when it's necessary? That will be key for winning a game.

  4. Tariq Lamptey, (maybe CHO) and Salisu called up go to a back 3 with Salisu and Amartey either side of Djiku Tariq and Gideon Wing backs.

Sorry I think Kudus is overrated. I'm going with a midfield 2 of Idrissu Baba and Partey.

Front Three of Afena-Gyan, Salisu either flank.

Not sure who I will play through the middle, I'm writing this from the UK perhaps theres some local players you guys know who can play a false 9 would've said Andre 4 years ago he has effort but his legs started to waiver in the championshipship not sure he can maintain the pressure at this level. Definitely not Jordan. Inaki isn't commited forget him. Maybe Kudus (or CHO) can do a false 9 role but every time I watch Kudus for club or country I don't see anything.

Can't wait for world Cup flying back to GH in october how I pray Ghana beat England in a knockout phase boy would I be happy.

P.s. Really want to see clifford Aboagye part of the squad reminds me of a player back in the day Dario Conca

  5. We jst need top notch strikers full stop all this talk is useless,Ghana lack scoring.Jordan Ayew is useless, the Afena -Gyan kid is too young we need to nurture him let him grow .If anything we need a goal scorer like Clifford Aboagye and drop Jordan Ayew for the world Cup also drop Afena-Gyan ,give Andre Ayew back his position as a Central Attacking midfield We dont need to go beg any defenders or midfielders to come play .we jst need strikers Tony Yeboah quality type of strikers. These players are good enough to compete with any team on the planet ,they are young and hungry besides Andre Ayew i think the average age with our team is 22 yrs old compare that to Portugal where the average age for their team is 30 yrs old they cant run as fast as us they gonna get tired quick because nature catches up to all of us

  6. Salisu isnot a better defender that Aidoo. They both were in Spain and Aidoo was the better of both. Salisu just happened to get sold to an EPL team. To demean Aidoo because of Salisu is shameful.

  7. As much as I hate to see salisu in the team because he turned on his country when we needed him despite of what the Gfa did to him or what ever his reason might be I feel we need him because based on his form he addeds quality

  8. Fent is too bias towards Salisu and very disrespectful to the other players. Shows some restraint and professionalism when discussing these stuff on TV. You can do that in your private space, but on TV is a no no no. You may have your preference, but be a "neutral" host.
No player is irreplaceable. In 2010, Essien missed the world cup due to injury. Stephen Appiah was on the bench. Yet, the young guys went in and bossed it. Salisu may be good, but I doubt he improves the team that much to start this divisive discussion. If there any place in the team needing improvement, the midfield and attack needs that more than the defence.

  9. Ghana needs these players nmore than they need Ghana.imagine the likes of Hudson Odoi, Tariq Lamptey, Wiliam Brothers, Eddie Nketiah and Salisu Mohammed. If u take a great look at the current team there is a lot of pot holes in the team. Yes Ghana outwitted Naija but the team is not well balanced. If Djiku and Amartey get injured, apart from Josdph Aidoo of Celta Vigo who does ghana have? The copa mondial is a different game all together The term of monkey dey work baboo dey chop must stop here. I personally dont see it like that. Look at the world Cup u need a strong team. At the worldcup in South africa Laryea kingston was dropped at the expense of Kevin prince Boateng. Did KPB played the qualifier? No he didnt. Was his addition to the team a bad choice? No it wasnt. Ghana dont have prolific strikers so if u have the chance of getting Inaki Williams on Board why hesitate? As they say in the local language many meat no dey spoil soup. Currently Inaki Williams has the best club record compared to any other ghanaian strikers. Inaki has played over 350 matches for the basque side Athletic Bilboa in the spanish primera Division and he has scored 74 goals plus 44 assist in all competitions. Which ghanaian striker can boast of such Record? Boakye Yiadom and Benjamin Tetteh are no more Stars materials. Now its the time to use the best players u have at your disposal or else doomsday for u at the worldcup. This one no be monkey dey work baboo the chop. Its only ghana they use this village and bush term.

  10. The difference is that Shila and Habib did not turn down invitations.
    Team atmosphere is also important
Thankfully there are Afcon qualifiers before this world cup.
We shall see the commitment of these players. They most come and play the qualifiers , if they don't, don't call them for the WC.
Kevin-Prince Boateng is a perfect example
