I realised that I have not yet given you the full farm tour. So here is it, a complete tour of the small farm I bought with my beloved in May 2021. We have made some progress and completed what we had planned as phase 1, a kitchen, bathroom and somewhere to sleep. However, trying to make further progress is proving a challenge as we struggle engage a builder.
This is the evolving story of how I came to find myself living on a mountain in Central Portugal. I share my experiences of life at 700m, connecting with nature, exploring the mountain environment, finding joy in each season and learning to live simply. I document the ups and downs of life as I share my thoughts and fears in this new pandemic world.
