Final Cut Pro X

For this Video and for all the videos i do at home, not being out with the bike i use Final Cut since for me it was the easiest to use program with a very intuitive Interface and cool colorgrading options.

KineMaster on Iphone
Here’s the link to the IOS App:

Using the Iphone allows me to cut all my videos and clips on the road without carrying the laptop which makes everything so much easier and it’s fun with the app;)

More about that and how i do stuff i will probably explain in future videos.

  2. Well… Good luck to get home with the "broken" bike… But… Im disaponited…
So… You couldnt finish your travel through Portugal… But you will risk a 3000 kms on a "broken" bike going home?!?!

  3. Sounds to me like a valve seat came loose. Ist a common problem . It Cracks from the sparkplug thread to the valve seat, then the seat comes loose when hot. When it cools down againits tight again till it heats up again.

  4. If you can’t find a place to get your motor fixed properly the ship the bike home and you take a train or bus. Get your bike fixed by someone who has some proper skills then start out again with a properly running motor.

  5. Hi Marc, was the tensioner full extended? If so, replace the timing chain in any medium size motorcycle shop. You don't have to go to Berlin just because of that. I belive that sound is either valves or timing chain. Keep up with the good videos and good luck.

  6. Just going to throw this out there; it could be an air / exhaust leak. A very small gap has opened up and as you ride, it may cause the noise or, it may seal up eliminating the noise. Check where the exhaust headers mount to the cylinder and any other joints along the exhaust (if any.) Who knows, you may have already solved the issue by the time you read this. Good luck. Cheers 🇨🇦

  7. You worry too much and you don't enjoy the trip! I had a Dominator and it also sounded like that, it could be the timing chain, or the tensioner or chain guide but the bike works fine but with noise…don't worry so much and enjoy!!! Peace and love my friend!!! ;))

  8. Hi! here is a Spaniard who has found your videos on YouTube. It's curious, it gives me the feeling that you are exploring space, the difference in language makes everything different and more solitary. If you need help with places or mechanics don't hesitate to ask, good luck!

  9. Hey Marc. I live in the UK and am always looking forward to watching your videos and getting inspired for my own next bike road trip. Not heard from you for a few days. You ok out there?

Ein Pick up wäre besser.

  12. just wondered if you keep benzine in that tank on the crash bars? Being on the outside of the bars, it will probably burst and from experience, there are sparks aplenty as you slide down the road.. Will you be doing that on fire? I think it's great that you carry spare fuel, but thought I'd air my thoughts… Good luck with that ride home.

  13. Hello, I am watching your trip with curiosity. I feel like I'm traveling with you. The source of the problem on your motorcycle; I think it is due to the gasket located at the junction of the engine block and the exhaust. The gasket found here must be replaced or compressed. Have a good journey.

  15. If you ever happen to be next to Coimbra city, you can visit "Ondacoimbra", it's the Honda dealership of that beautiful city and they are very friendly people and very professional.😃

Take your bike there for a checkup, they're awesome. 😎👍

  16. I would order up a new genuine honda cam chain, and tensioner assembly, and get it fitted locally. Also keep taking note of the noise, and see how it progresses, do not ignore if it gets significantly worse, if you decide to continue your journey. No guarantees in life, but chances are been a honda of a generation that we're over engineered you will be fine. There are some great videos on youtube of how to change the above parts. You are in a wonderful part of the world, doing what you enjoy, just enjoy the whole experience. You have already met some great people because of the mechanical issues, that you would not have without.

  17. hello Mark, how is it going? I hope that you are evolving and will be able to pursue your Journey soon. I have a question for you. I see you are using the LS2 helmet, may I ask how do you like it (or not?) I am thinking about buying one too but don't know anyone that has one. How is the visor , does it seal well for noise (isolation) or not , what you don't like about it – please tell so I can evaluate. Thank you

  18. Cam chain tensioner problem is VERY common in a lot of bikes. I had this problem myself and put in a new original Honda tensioner and had the same clacking again after a while. I ended up putting a manual cam chain tensioner instead of the original automatic. We are with you man. Keep forward, you have a great bike!

  19. HI, to know if a spark plug is bad, put a damp cloth on each of the exhaust pipes, if the tube is hot, the heat will evaporate the water. If nothing happens: the spark plug is blown, the spark plug HT wire is damaged, the ignition coil has a problem. Start by replacing the spark plug and visually check the condition of the cable. Good luck
