The Castelo Beach, situated in the famous Caparica Coast, on the south of Lisbon, is famous for being mostly frequented by youngsters and, during summer months, by several children and youngsters on holiday camps.
It is also quite looked for by surfers and bodyboarders due to the good conditions for this type of sport.

The Costa da Caparica beaches are extended for over 15 kilometers, offering a wide variety of beaches that, even though they are quite similar, present different ambiances and styles.
The majority of these beaches have a lifeguard during summer months, car parking, restaurants, and bars.
There is also a touristic train that passes through all the beaches along the Caparica coast, during the summer months only.
