  1. Dude… Take it all down, when everything is down. Rebuild correctly. Otherwise it will be mess later. Also correct the cracks and rebuild correctly. It will save you much work later.

  2. Anything you could have done wrong you done it wrong, get someone with experience to show you proper way to do it so you could make other projects yourself.Friendly comment even doe it sounds rough.

  4. Couldn't you have had a wonky beam to line up with the wall, cut it off at the gable, parallel to the wall vertical, then have other beams making up the parallel?
    Twice as complex as either previous option, but would give you the regular support of parallel beams and the ease of wall finishing.

  6. Voces gringos precisam aprender os métodos de construção brasileira em alvenaria. Construções antigas como esta de alvenaria em que voces estão trabalhando precisam de cuidados especiais por conta da umidade, o maior inimigo do tijolo a longo prazo é a agua. Se esses tijolos usados na construção forem estruturais, voces poderiam simplesmente apoiar o telhado por cima, se não for estrutural e nesse caso acredito que não pois não vejo colunas nas paredes voces devem adaptar uma nova fundação com colunas de sustentação, se voces usarem o drywall que é comum para voces sem vedar a parte de fora vão ter enormes problemas com mofo e posteriormente rachaduras nas paredes.

  8. De gordingen ondersteunen via de muur is geen slecht idee.. ik weet niet wat de draagkracht van de vloer nog is waar de balken op rusten. misschien is er door de groef die je hebt gemaakt voor de condens ook een vermindering van de draagkracht…

  9. Strange arrangement from the rafters. Every roof i saw, has a support across the top middle and one on the down side. Than you put rafters from top to bottom side. Yours is the other way around. Any reason you did it like you did?

  10. Some bad decisions made here lots effort to try and save a poorly built structure that a bricklayer would build in 5 days with a labourer

    You can’t polish a turd, you can sprinkle some glitter on it to make it look good, but your not even doing that.

  11. I like it. The total bonkers idea of adding some wood hoping to defuse a ticking time bomb keeps it exiting.
