  1. Thank you. I would love to go to beautiful Portugal period that seems so relaxing and beautiful. I like the beaches and architecture I like the history culture and scenery. I like the festival and music. I like the little villages. I like seafood and friendly people. I love the beaches. I like the castles and whitewashed fishing villages.

  2. I visited Porto & Lisbon and I must say, he is a Beautiful country w very friendly people, the food,
Wine is awesome.. I actually would love to
Live there 3-6 mos out of the year

  3. Wanted: Investor for Board Game

I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that is guaranteed to be far more challenging and exciting than CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

Over time, Ruvol will surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”

Why am I so sure about this? Because I am an avid chess player myself.

The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.

    HOW IS RUVOL PLAYED?

Ruvol is played somewhat like chess. It is played by two players. It uses a board that is rectangular in shape but contains more number of squares than chess. It has equal number of pieces on each side of the board, where each type of pieces moves in distinct ways. However, if the way to win chess is to checkmate the opponent’s king, the way to win Ruvol is to be able to cross a designated line.

    TWO GAMES IN ONE!

Actually, Ruvol comes in two versions: the Ruvol and the Ruvit. I was able to develop two variations of games using only one board—a sort of two games in one. It should be aptly called and sold then as “The Ruvol and Ruvit Board Game.” When the players get bored with Ruvol, they can switch to Ruvit, or vice-versa—using the same board and pieces. Both games offer the same level of challenge and excitement.

A MILLION DOLLAR POTENTIAL IN RUVOL!

The people who play chess will be the same people who will play Ruvol. In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. These 800 million players comprise the “Total Potential Buyers” of Ruvol across the globe. At an average profit of just US$3 per set, the “Global Income Potential” of Ruvol then is US$2.4 billion. Assuming only 1% of it will buy each year, the annual global potential sale of Ruvol is US$24M.

I AM LOOKING FOR AN INVESTOR!

For the reason that I don’t have the resources to publish Ruvol on a global scale, you might be interested to have the exclusive right to manufacture and market Ruvol globally under a “licensing agreement.” Or better yet, just “BUY MY COPYRIGHT” and Ruvol is entirely yours. Thanks and God bless!

  4. My parents moved in the sixtees from Portugal Setubal to Germany, where i was born. Now i'm 51 years old and i'm tired to live in Germany ,cause it's full of cars cars cars and it's completely overruled and i feel a lack of life quality. I have to wait for the sale of my parents appartement in Setubal and then i move "back" to Portugal. Greetings from Germany. Like your channel.

  5. I have visited Portugal for the last 3 years and it is beautiful in every way . The people are very kind and welcoming They are proud of their rich history and I really enjoyed learning about it from them. They are a warm kind people. I am so glad I had the opportunity to visit and to get to know the people and this beautiful country.

  6. That was probably the best video I have seen for moving to Portugal, thank you! My partner and I are planning to move to Portugal (this year but then COVID-19 happened and now the plan moved to next year). I am German and am a self-employed Health Coach. My business is based in Germany. Do you know if an employment in Portugal is needed for renting an apartment or getting insurance?

  7. I've been to quite a few places and, in particular, love Portugal. It's so beautiful and offers so much: culture, food, European lifestyle, gorgeous architecture, nice people, urban life, music, cafes, great weather, beaches and, also reasonable cost! The limited experience I've had with their institutions indicate that they are fairly efficient in most things too – but that's based on very limited interactions. As much as Lisbon sounds great, I'm thinking that Coimbra might be a great compromise between culture, activities and affordability. Can I get your thoughts on the pluses and minuses of Coimbra?

  8. Remember in most European countries the better doctors are in the public system – the average doctor who isn't good enough for the public system ends up in the private system

  9. Lived in the Algarve for
Over 13 years and just to leave a comment that the public health care system is excellent although yes it is busy but doctors are attentive and I found quicker than Uk for certain tests like scans or MRI …

  10. Regarding health care. I do believe you should get a "second opinion"! Yeah! Precisely like on doctor orders! Knowing relatively well both public and private health systems. and with the advantage of a glimpse of US services! I can't avoid saying, what you said is generally flat wrong and misleading… Except for the queues in some of the public facilities! That part is very similar to US.

Let me put it this way. Most Americans would wish their health care system was as decent as the Portuguese one. Oh! BTW and free! And that's the basic reality! Also "understaffed", is that a JOKE ?!!
You do realize that American "MD per capita" are almost HALF of Portugal's numbers?!! In fact Portugal score a decent 3th place, just in front of Norway 4th! US score I believe in 33th or 34th with ~50% of Portugal!!
Similar apply to other health service personnel like nurses, etc.! There's very good reasons why UK prime minister Boris Johnson, congratulated is nurses for standing by is side and saving it's life. One from N. Zealand and the other, you guessed, Portuguese!
There's also the "small" detail Portuguese health care rank #12, behind Norway's #11…US, don't get embarrassed but come to the rank in #37!! And so on…
So please try to get decent information instead of the "I heard" or "someone told me"! Passing that kind of misinformation is not correct at all.

This is regarding public, when the conversation turn to "private". Well then the private room with LCD, cable TV, internet connection, etc.etc. comes to play. Certainly all for a price… Or in other words the difference is the time and luxury. Not the professionalism of the involved! 😉
Here is an interesting article that don't even speak of Portugal, in particular. But will give you some hints:
