Nick is that backing plaster only for internal walls, and can you use it over the granite stones?
👍🏻
Well done Nick, take care of yourself.
Waste not, want not.
anyone would think you know what your doing nick! haha, great video mate! also sometimes a coat of liquid PVA can help with porous surfaces 🙂
God save your Queens.
Hi Nick.Once again another enjoyable video. Excellant instructions on plastering tecniques and tips. On my schizt casa I would like a stone feature wall in exery room and the rest repointed and sealed.I know that you are not keen on lime plaster/render. Is the backing plaster suitabe for rendering the schitz stone, and also what would you use for repointing? Not sure what I need. Gladyou showed which backing plaster you used. If you go to Castelo Branco for material, do you use Maxmat, Brico Marcha, or suffrgens? Steve & Cass
Thank you for the plastering lesson, always good to learn from you! Take care guys!
The cake looks beautiful!
Nick, you make the plastering looks soo easy, and yes it is indeed like icing a cake, however, I’m pretty rubbish at doing that too!😂
Hope your chest clears up too, Laura 🍻🍻🍻
I love the finish on the wall with that product Nick. Where can I buy this in Castelo Branco please?
Such lovely friends you have, just wonderful. Loved the lemon cake recipe. Great plastering demonstration Nick. I love your sense of community and down to earth way of doing things. Keep well and I hope Nick's chest heals well xx
That sticky plaster is awesome and your tutorial was great. THANKS. And lemon cake is my favorite. YUM
I like the 30 second blast at the end and the sound of Morten's MyPlayhouse channel
Thank you, enjoyed it, as always
Love and Rainbows
1 tip donot use cola cement its only a glue no good you can get good cement mif you look m8
Enjoy your progress, wish you all the best !
Lovely craftsmanship on that wall. So nice seeing your guests. Looks like you have had a great visit.
I have followed you both since the beginning, love what you are doing and wish I could do the same, but tempus fugit – I´m well past my sell-by-date. I would like to suggest that you don´t move the camera about so much when you are filming, though, it makes me quite seasick and sometimes I have to close my eyes and just listen to the commentary. Build a little annex and I would love to come and stay!
Lovely, all of this. Great tutorials, great times with visiting friends Sondra, Raymond, Niluka, Gerd, invisible Morten. 🙆🏻♀️ Good you didn't have to eat your pizzas by yourselves and had friends to help. 😁
Good job as usual 👍👍
Love the DIY. Keep it coming
As ever, awesome!
Hi guys, great video! Nick how's the plaster in the PT compared with the red English one? The one you are using looks like bonding to me… Does it finishes the same way as normal plaster? Or do you float it out? What about PVA? Is it not used in PT? Great stuff 👌🤞👍👍
🌟👏👍🍀💐
lovely
Well Andrea won my heart the first time I saw her 'clean' a mixing bowl..now I wonder Andrea, do you have the urge, as I do, to get a giant industrial spatula and clean around Nick's render-mixing bucket?
Very well Sandra, 1st time on camera and in English. Very funny how Nick pronounces our beautiful language
Hi Nick, good work on the wall but why not use the dot and dab to cover up the surface?
Great plaster, very flexible.
Rule of thumb cakes cream sugar & butter add eggs vanilla juice all wet then sifted flour bi carb or baking powder 👍❤️❤️❤️🙏
That stuff is wonderful and it’s easier to manipulate. Thanks for the lesson.
Brilliant thoroughly enjoyed the plastering ,cake and friends great mix.Hope you get your chest some antibiotics … 👍👍👍👍
Good job Nick: your Dutch is almost better than her English 😂
Nick you make the plastering look so easy, what a fantastic job your wall looks great. I can hear that you are very SOB don’t over do things, sounds like you need some time in your sauna, will some eucalyptus oil help your chest? Looking forward to catching up with you beautiful people soon xxx
Stop making applying the plaster look so easy, almost makes us think we can do it that quickly too😜. Jokes aside, this video will definitely come in handy very soon, thank you👍
