France were still missing Kante and Benzema. Don't think they can be written off although the midfield of Tchouameni and Camavinga don't work together as a pair yet. Which is surprising considering they both play for Real. But maybe it's an age thing. They need someone with more experience to control the game next to them. For me this WC comes too soon for them to be deciding players in a WC winning team. It often takes one tourney as a learning experience to become winners on an international stage.
