I stayed in a hostel for the first time ever in my life, while I was in Porto. And this place broke all the myths and misconceptions I was led to believe about hostels.
Set in the beautiful French Beaux-Arts-inspired building of São Bento Railway Station, The Passenger Hostel is not just any hostel – it’s a five-star hostel. From its super spacious dormitory to its private rooms, it exudes cleanliness, space, comfort and a design-feel, with a lock technology that made me feel incredibly secure.
It’s also such a cool place to hang out, with spacious common areas, different lounges to choose from, a big kitchen and a loft conversion for moments of relaxation. They even had a clocktower turned art gallery. What’s not to like?
Above all, they had a team that’s friendly, helpful and would welcome you just like friends would.
I can’t wait to stay with The Passenger Hostel again.
