  1. When does temporary residency begin? So like for the Rentista option, does temporary residency kick in once the $60K is verified to have been deposited in a Costa Rican bank? I've seen other videos where it doesn't have to be a CR bank, but it's just better to go with a CR bank due to the additional requirements if a non CR bank is used.

  2. Who the hell is going to send them a criminal report, a medical report and an apostile (????) WTF??? Get the fuck out of the retirement visa business. We need easy residency. Anything else is extortion.

  3. Hi Wanda 🌺 please excuse my ignorance – so after 2 years one could apply for residency, then after 2 more years one could renew their residency, my question is that the additional 3 years needed to apply for permanent residency, is that in addition to the first four? Or is included in the first four that we already mentioned? Just trying to clarify, thank you 🌺💞🌺

  4. March 10, 2022. Wife and I filed last month as retirees. Attorney was $2800 for both of us, and fees were about $500, also for both of us. So, about $3300. Filed electronically. We had all the paperwork required when we arrived in January, and already translated by our atty. Now we wait.

  5. Hola Wanda

My daughter is going to build a house in CR & I want to invest in it + $ 150k usd.

Would like to know can she own it but I pay for it. If so can I apply for investor status.

Once built, my wife & I will semi retire at least 3 months each year.

  6. HOW ABOUT those of us who HAD residency, but were forced to leave CR for personal reasons ? My hubby is American, and let his resident cedula expire. NOW, we're seriously considering a permanent return to CR – especially in view of the possible new law favoring retirees. Any advice for us ?

  7. Hi again Wanda, I have a question regarding the residency being a business owner, you said that we didn't need to hire a local, is that new? because last time i asked to a Venezuelan friend i have in San Jose he said that we need to hire at least one tico to keep that permit. And i thought it lasted two years, but maybe some things have changed?
