Life, memory, beauty, necessity and sacredness of water. The beauty of water. The memory of water. Water and its shape, the shape of water. Water and Woman, Water and Nature. Water is a story of women. Water is the essence of every woman. How water transforms itself and how it creates. How water is preserved, checked and distributed. 7 Stazioni encompasses all of this and proposes seven states, seven different visions of water. The progressive numbering of each vision marks the seven stages of the journey to be undertaken in the visual path. 7 Stazioni is a work created by Silvia Pallini in Portugal, in 2020, as part of the research developed by the artist in RAMA – Artistic Residency, Maceira and Alfeiria, Torres Vedras.
