It’s time for something very exciting – to us at least – it’s time to try our hand at hemp lime plastering a whole room. We starting with the smallest (and least important) room in our old stone Portuguese farmhouse: the laundry room.
We’ve got all the materials and tools we need (we think) and so it’s time to give some proper plastering a go. We’re giving ourselves three days to complete the first coat. Let’s see how we get on…

I love it, looks earthy which I have always wanted an adobe home ( hand- made, of course). Excited for you two, your place will be beautiful!💚
Job well done. May I suggest an other youtube ("tiny shiny home" , episode OUR family shares what we learned our first year,dec.31 2021) which did and still are doing clay trails and errors but a very interesting family on their honestead in Arizona. They also explain the process installing the solar system etc… Thank's for sharing the hard work, techniques & the brewing tips!
Can you smoke that hemp ? Asking for a friend 🙄
I've seen cooking sleeves to keep arms from getting dirty. Perhaps you can get some for plastering when you're warm.
Questions; outside walls for hemp to insulate? Will cold or condensation carry through on inside walls you decide not to insulate?
The walls look amazing!
So satisfying video to watch – the plastering time lapse was very enjoyable. Thank you
Hi from New Zealand 😊
I wonder if you could make a jig or frame to house the container with bars across the bottom to stand on putting the stirrer part through the top stopping it jumping around?
I'm not explaining myself very well but I think it would save your backs 😊
Great job guys well done!! Can you provide the name of the company that supplied the Hemp please ?
WOW! You guys did such an awesome job! It looks so good! You should be very proud of yourselves! 🙂 You can honestly say, that you put a lot of "blood, sweat, and tears" into your renovation! lol
I give you lots of "Props" for what you are doing! And yes, it IS paying off big time! It looks amazing! Can't wait to see what else you have in store! 🙂
i worked in a 17 th century tavan the original finish was very similar our plaster matched the original he was 70 years old just saying
Cab this hemp be used as bedding for animals, i.e. chickens/ rabbits and so on? And where can it be obtained? I like to follow you and your project, and kind of wish that I also had the possibility to buy a small plae like you've got. Greetings from Norway
Awesome

Okay stupid American question here…. As you are a business producing demonstrator videos of this Hemp Lime Plaster is it not possible to avoid VAT on EU purchases as a business expense?
Great diy video, materials, mix, method, cost, lessons learned. Sore but admire a job well done. Warrmer and brighter. Modern yet rustic.
Woooooow beautiful job you have done guys godbless your work
Please dear friends don't smoke it all at one's

Although a regular viewer of your channel, I seem to have missed something, i.e. why you have gone down the route of using a hemp/lime based plaster?
Look at Finca life channel, they just pointed the stone walls and surfaced mounted electrics
LOOKS GREAT…😊
