Passport fees are gathered from government documents, websites, credible news outlets and other sources. Passport fee definition: The official application fee marked by the government department or authority for native citizens of the country who lodged their passport applications in-country. Passport fee does not include costs of passport or ID photo, documentations, expedited services, fees for lawyer or other legal representation, mailing or other associated costs. Passport application fees marked by each country’s embassies and consulates overseas vary and are excluded. Prices are converted to US dollars using market exchange rates at time of research. For countries that offered passports with various booklet length and expiration dates, the price for the passport with the fewest pages and the furthest expiration date is chosen. For countries that list different prices for children, adults, and seniors, disabled, unemployed, or other discounts, the highest price is chosen.
