A general meeting was held on the online platform last Saturday to form a new committee consisting of young and old.
It was presided over by Advocate Anichuzzaman. Directed by Miron Nazmul and Farid Ahmed Patwari.
A 22-member committee was formed for 2022-23 with Jamir Hossain, Italian correspondent of Daily Jugantar as president and Kabir Al Mahmoud, Madrid (Spain) correspondent of Bangla TV as general secretary.
Other members of the committee are: Abdullah Iqbal, MD of Finland, Habibullah Al Bahar, MD of Germany, Omar Farooq Himel of Germany, Farid Ahmed Patwari, Joint General Secretary of Portugal, Ismail Hossain Raihan of Spain, Faisal Mahmud of Organizing Secretary United Kingdom, Syed Mamun of France, Laybur Rahman of Barcelona, Anwar H. Khan Fahim of Portugal, Rakib Hasan Rafi of Slovenia, Mohammad Shahjahan of Portugal, Secretary of Finance and Social Welfare, Ahmed Raj, Secretary of Information Research and International Affairs of Poland, Shahid Ahmed Prince of Portugal, Publicity and Publication Secretary Office Secretary Mohammad Mubin Khan of Barcelona, Sports and Culture Secretary Md. Abu Saeed of Lisbon, Portugal, Immigration Secretary Mehdi Maruf of Paris, Member Miron Nazmul of Spain, Advocate Anichuzaman Anich of Italy, Babu Mia Jasim of Austria.
The meeting also observed a minute’s silence for Riazuddin Ahmed, former president of the late National Press Club, editor of The Financial Herald and Ekushey Medal-winning journalist, and wished for his release.
