After a break we are back with our latest project! Last year, Hannah’s mother decided to join us on our adventure. So as summer came to a close, Hannah drove to Germany to collect her, and we set about making her a beautiful modern yurt with all the fixtures to live comfortably here in Portugal. Follow us in this video as we walk you through the project step by step.

All three of us are super happy with the result – and hopefully this will serve as a wonderful home for Sonja until we get permission to build something more permanent for us all. The Camara, unfortunately, is still going back on their word, and after two rounds of architect amends we still haven’t been able to come to a compromise. However, we have heard that the land is up for rezoning again in 2024/25 and have decided to hold out at least until this date. This means that we will have plenty of great content coming as we get the land ready and continue its retransformation into a permaculture oasis. As for the coworking space we opened, it’s currently been fully booked for November and December which is a surprising success!
