Elinor O’Donovan (b.1995) is a digital media artist from Ireland.

“My art practice and research treads the blurred line of the so-called ‘digital divide’–the perceived no-man’s land between the internet and the ‘real world’. It is as much informed by internet memes and online sub-cultures as it is by comedy, cartoons, and cinema tropes. My work is playful, and draws on a metamodernist sense of humour which plays up the indistinction between irony and sincerity, and bleakness and joy. A lot of my work is informed by internet memes; their absurdity and metamodernist humour, and their being products of vernacular creativity.“

PADA is an Art Residency & Gallery based in a post-industrial site near Lisbon, Portugal.
