Wille Meike Brand (b. 1992) is a visual artist from The Netherlands, currently based in Rotterdam.

“Within my practice I explore the boundaries of often undervalued (waste) materials and I research methods to give them a new function, in this textile is an often recurring medium. In my experiment-based research I explore new ways to transform a copy into an original, waste into value and bringing new meaning to the discarded. My works move between installation, sculpture and fashion – these three often merge into one another in both unwearable as well as wearable pieces.”

PADA is an Art Residency & Gallery based in a post-industrial site near Lisbon, Portugal.
