  1. So glad yall are doing well! I was afraid you were going through a rough patch or something – you are just super busy. You are really taking advantage of your new life – such an inspiration for us!
We loved our visit to Tomar, it was one of our fav places but we only had a few hours :(. Hope to be back at some point for sure.

  2. Welcome back.. you sure have a long list of videos we patiently await such as USA passport renewal, Free Portuguese classes in public sch, Library Card etc. love you both

  3. Hey guys, I missed you so much so glad you're back. Yes, retired individuals that are in Portugal with the D7 Visa can also work, on their own, for example an online job AND they can also work for any company/employment in Portugal. Oh, one thing you can do during cold weather is turn on the iron and quickly pass it through your bed to warm it or also use the hair dryer and pass it through the bed. I have lived through the worse historic winter. I'm from Chicago so imagine. But the houses, apartments there are toasty warm in the winter. The white snow like thing you see on the ground in the Winter is called frost.

  4. Hurray! Welcome Back. I’m so glad to see you both again and to learn you’ve been busy. I was thinking Gaby gave up on finding good coffee in PT and so you guys moved to Italy. 😁😁 Of course, the main thing is you’re both well and safe. 🎉 Interesting comments about the driver’s license exchange 🚘 and the cold/damp winters. ❄️ I recall in Italy the winter was very similar and took me some time to understand why everyone wore sweaters. I trust Gaby’s dad upcoming visit will be a pleasant one and looking forward to more videos as your time allows. 👍🏻

  5. Thank you for all of the helpful information that you provide! It’s a pleasure to witness your journey. It’s very inspiring.

  6. Great info that you're giving people interested in moving to Portugal. I'm on the D7 visa also so this helps me. And I love your J.R.R. Tolkien logo sweatshirt, cool.

  7. You are back! ¡Que linda sorpresa! In the time inbetween I started 2022 in Coimbra-Calhabé & am living here thanks to my EU pass. Greetings!

  8. So glad that you guys are back! I'm waiting for my driver's license and I already got pulled over on a random stop. I don't have the temporary license yet, so I just told them I was waiting for it in the mail. It worked — but do you think it will it keep on working? I do have the receipt for my license change application. Thanks again for another interesting and informative video!
