  1. Sounds like Angola..and TAP Airlines to me.
And all the Portuguese diplomats must graduate from the same school, because here in Canada we have the great (not🤣 ) level of service.
Hope you get back to Portugal soon.
    I'm originally from Nazare area

  2. Hallo Cindy, it seems that you have been a victim of abuse due to arbitrary treatment of passengers regarding documents etc. Adequate regulations are lacking, but you are not the one being paid to solve this problem. Instead, you can consider contacting the relevant authorities to solve your problem and get compensation instead of buying another flight.

  3. What an ordeal that you have to go through! So happy that you are safe, Cindy! I am with you on PORTUGAL being your Home! I love your farm and the piglets are so adorable that you want to hug & squeeze them! You have a wonderful family of friends in Portugal, indeed! Can't wait to see you on your farm again!! Chow from Michigan 💓💓💓

  4. So sorry that you have to go through this. Airline requirements can be the worst. I remember that I was denied boarding by Lufthansa in Vancouver because I was flying to a European country without a residence permit and no return ticket. I then had to buy a return ticket. I was traveling with Hoppy and felt so sorry for her because she had to spend an extra night in her carrier. Hope this works out for you soon.

  5. Hello so the reason why this all happened is Turkey is not part of the EU nations they follow there own rules and they were only following them when you did not have your residential card now I'm not saying it was fair what they did to you I'm saying to avoid it happening again research what's going on where going to even if you are just passing through a lot of the countries are becoming sticky its always better to know before you go.

  6. Shame, what a terrible experience to go through…especially on such a long journey. Sending you prayers and good vibes in all things working well to get you home.
PS: I know you’ve mentioned not wanting to name the airline, but they should be called out…especially when the embassy (consulate) says your document is fine. And honestly airlines can be real 💩at times. I know we’re not looking forward to travelling similar route (especially as he’s different nationality)

  7. Wow! How can an airline deny you boarding when your papers are proper? Will you be able to get some refund from the offending airline? Here's wishing you a safe journey home.🙂👍👍👍

  8. Christine here, glad you enjoyed your visit with your family. So sorry about your troubles getting back to Portugal, cheeky airline! Would you not be able to recover the portion of your flight that you were denied? Please take care where you are staying, maybe you should find somewhere else? Keeping fingers crossed that you get home soon. Hugs from Pretoria xx

  9. You are quite the woman,Cindy!
You took on a nearly abandoned farm in our beautiful Portugal
and made it your own through hard work and patience, and learning
to do things you probably had never done before! Needless to say
I admire your tenacity! Hope you get home safe and sound!✈️

  10. I first heard that something was wrong with you through Luke and Sarah's YouTube channel.I was very worried and thought a lot of things that might have gone wrong with you, perhaps an illness or an accident with you or your family or even with one of your pigs or your lovely dog. I have been waiting since then to find out what the problem was. I must say that now that I know what has been going on with you, though I feel sorry I am relieved. Of course what happened at the airport is very frustrating but these kind of problems have a solution although an expensive one. I hope to see you back in Portugal very soon. I admire your stamina. By the way, the name Eduardo is my husband's. I am Filipa. It is I who follow the different you tubers on his mobile phone. I wish all the luck on your next flight home. 👍🌹
