I'm actively playing this too! Albania eventually gets an option to turn to the Elysian culture group. Their culture on the map doesn't immediately switch over though. I didn't have to do anything; it just kinda popped up as I didn't realize you could integrate them at all.
Albanian Culture unless scurek changed it you need to integrate them via parliament
You could use strong duchies for extra two dip relations.
