
In this Lecture, I will continue discussing the Age of Absolutism with primary emphasis on the Habsburg Empires that controlled vast lands in Europe. I will briefly discuss the Spanish Habsburg Empire which maintained power until 1700, along with the junior branch of the Austrian Habsburg Monarchy (Empire) that dominated southern Germany around Austria, Hungary, Bohemia, etc. This Lecture mentions famous rulers such as Emperor Charles V, King Philip II of Spain, Emperor Leopold I, Emperor Charles VI, Empress Maria Theresa, Emperor Joseph II along with others.
This Lecture included a short video on Schonbrunn Palace originally from the Vienna channel describing the famous Habsburg built palace in Vienna, Austria.
