Are you a non-EU citizen wishing to carry out seasonal work in the Netherlands? You can find information on this video, regarding the Netherlands – Seasonal worker.
A Netherlands work visa for seasonal labour is granted to individuals who will be doing seasonal work in the Netherlands in the agriculture sector. A Dutch seasonal work visa can be issued for a maximum of 24 weeks~6MONTHS.
The requirements for a Dutch seasonal labor visa include:
– Employment contract with an employer in the Netherlands
– Obtaining a Single Permit (a combined residence permit and work permit)
– You must earn the minimum wage or a percentage
This Dutch residence permit for seasonal work is only for workers who are nationals of a country outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland who wishes do seasonal work for a Dutch company in the agriculture or horticulture sector for a maximum of 6 months.
The residence permit and work permit are applied for together as a single permit (gecombineerde vergunning voor verblijf en arbeid or GVVA). The IND will assess the application. For the work permit, the IND will request advice from the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV).

Please be aware, the candidates with nationality outside the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are not allowed to work in the Netherlands without a work permit. The Dutch government isn’t willing to give those work permits. For this reason, the employer can’t hire you.
We advise you to try other countries for work. Not every country has the same strict rules.
