  1. You had me sweating for a lil bit. Rolling stones uphill is some heavy work. I may be sitting in my recliner drinking coffee but I was cheering you on the whole way.🤣 Honestly, the bench is going to bring a whole lot of charm to the house. I'm sure the cats will love it too. Sarah can have her tea in the morning and listen to all the beautiful birds. Great job Nick!

  2. The bench is going to be a wonderful space to sit and have morning coffee or afternoon tea. I am looking forward to seeing your finished masterpiece. Sarah can add her touches by adding some lovely outdoor cushions to make it a little softer on the tush. The editing you did on this video made it look like it was no big deal to bring all those stones up to where you were working. I can't imagine how hard that was on your back to get all those up there. I had wondered why it seemed that everyone rebuilding any kind of place in Portugal had an orange mixer. Your video explains why. Is this the same company who made the wonderful wheelbarrow that you have always raved about?

Take care of yourself over on your side of the pond. Tell Sarah I said hello and hope she is getting some time off these days. Much love to you both.🧡💛💙

  3. The bench is going to be lovely! Those stones look extremely heavy but the end result is great and the finished project is sure to make a super feature. Sarah is sure to be thrilled.

  4. Miss Sarah had a great idea. I’m sure you’ll spend some lovely sunsets on that bench. I know I would 🙂
And it looks like the work of a professional 😏. Can’t wait to see the finishing touches 💪

  5. Im with you on the clean mixer. It drives me mad when people say you can just chuck a brick in and run it to clean set cement in the mixer.

iI I borrow a tool or car it goes back cleaner than when I got it and with the fuel tank full.

  6. Great vlog Nick. Super progress on the bench and the progress you are making.

Also, congratulations on demonstrating your commitment to Portugal by integrating with the neighbours, village and, most importantly, shopping local. Supporting your local community is a must wherever you live as it puts money back into the economy you live in, reduces transportation costs, it's the environmental option, helps provide local employment (especially in the rural areas of Portugal) and ensures that taxes are paid in Portugal – helping the economy of the country you live in. Full appreciation that some products aren't available in Portugal, but I don't understand why people travel to Spain or buy on the internet through other European countries to save a few Euros and bolster another country's GDP. I'm clearly missing something – maybe when I arrive in Portugal it will all become clear!

  7. Well that was certainly worth the wait ! The stone work looks amazing and the effort that went into that was true love 💕. The chip is fine, even a crack would be as it needs to age and look old and worn out by many bums sitting on it, which I’m sure it will. Absolutely loved the drone footage, I can now understand the size and shape of your houses and land. Great work, really enjoyable. 👍🏽😎

  8. IT SEEMS YOU HAVE A NEW FRAGAMUFFIN(BLACK & WHITE SITTING WATCHING YOU DESIGN YOUR ROCK LEDGE…VERY INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU ARE DOING…SO CUTE…BLESS THEM)…THE LEDGE LOOKS GREAT…ALL THE BEST TO BOTH OF YOU…& THE KITTIES…YOU HAVE BECOME A DADDA OF SOME ORPHAN KITTENS…🙏 😉
