  1. Well done 10 is a good number for a litter but watch the runt of the litter there is always one. your other sow may have more piglets than she can feed she very big. I agree that they are amazingly tiny when born, but absolutely adorable. Lana Australia.

  2. Hi, next time you need water, the guys at the café will spin the wheel for you.
    Just ask them ;-D
You can always bribe them with a coffee or água dente.

  3. Idea! In Portugal, do you have women who come in daily to clean house and do general chores? I'm sure your family will have peace of mind knowing you have help at least 5 days a week? On Sat/Sun you no doubt will invite friends to bring and " braai". She can sweep, mop daily, keep kitchen dust free, help you cart water to pigs, plants, sweep out pig poo, be a real general help. If you feel sick, she can at least make tea and toast. Is there a bus service nearby? You can teach each other to speak English/Portuguese.You won't be so alone and it will free you up as with more piglets, you will be very busy caring for their wellbeing.I just put myself in your place as all your subscribers do, as if we were there helping you.🧚🌍🐷🦮

  4. O my you are going to be busy with all these piggies about.I too have diebetis have been since 2003 two injections a day one gets used to the highs and lows not much fun when it gets too low thou.nice barbecue Cindy and should you be eating crunches.

  5. Hi Cindy, if nausea persists, please inform your Dr. I'm sure you have already. What I meant as curtain, was a metre of shade cloth just nailed along the top, of entrance, or thread a length of stretch curtain wire and two wind in screws each end.So only needs noise from two thin nails tapping in and screws then take easily. That will give them cover from sun in maternity ward. Love all those useful cheerful pops of colour plastic basins. Now they are civilized June's with their own baths and drinking and eating utensils. I was housemother at Rhenish/ Rustenberg girls high, and miss all the creative baking those talented cooks could do, "out of their heads" for 100+- teenagers. Your crunchies remind me of those 18 years of being spoilt.👏🏻💐PS. How about big plastic buckets with lids to keep in car, and when running short, use jug to decant.(more expense)

  6. Hi Cindy, glad you went to Dr. Diabetes…all the more reason to protect your feet from injury..So get those talkies! No need for Nikes, I'm talking thin soled ones.Wear cotton socks. I'm sure your local, Pep store type store keep them. What about a bucket with a lip to pour? Heavy though! Ugh that water pool gets Soo mucky.I did suggest a few metres of thick builders plastic to put underneath.Just need those cement troughs for food asap.Awesome braai area! Wow! Lots of parties planned no doubt! 🥂What a lovely mother pig you have there. No gynae, painkillers, flowers or fuss! 💐💐 Clever girl!

  7. Maybe you could keep the smaller pools for your dogs instead of the pigs. When you get more bigger pools, you could give them to the pigs. Also, ask someone to come and sort out your water problem. You could do these things whilst you have no work until September. Thank you and all the best to you.

  8. Congratulations on the arrival of the 2nd lot of piggies 🐷
I do hope you feel better soon with your new medication. You take care. Love & Hugs look forward to seeing more piggies 🐷 from cinnamon bun on Sunday. Xxx

  9. More ideas…. filling the tubs. Just filling these will require energy. It seems, without being on site… that some multiple system with hoses left in place near each pen, and proper valves, and a small electric pump… you can again direct the water and only move the new stationary hoses a few feet.
By automating just your "water chores" you will create free time for more diverse projects.
Nice looking piglets… hope you maximize the profits via $$$ or labor exchange.

  10. A Needed TOOL: Looking at both water sources may I suggest creating a tool? Re the Wheel…. create a short hose to attach to the spout, place the bottles in a box, put the hose in each bottle and walk to turn the wheel. Why hold any bottle — stabilize them and let the hose do what they are made to do… to direct water.
Re the constant fountain: same idea …. clamp a hose, or support a funnel with a hose to direct the water…. holding a bottle is a waste of energy. Humans create tools to make life easier. 😉
