  1. Put big fan in the room. look like moisture trapped in drywall?
Cracs in solid wall…like foundation cracks.. Check por epoxy minjections. You drill the wall every 20 cm approx and inject epoxy from top of the crack- gun like for silicon tube. But epoxy. You find video clips on YouTube

  2. This is not a critical comment, I’m trying to help you for future baking. Your cake was underbaked. If the skewer doesn’t come out absolutely clean, the cake will not carry on cooking in the tin. Your oven wasn’t pre-heated, which was just a forgetful mistake but if you put a cake in an oven not heated it will sink in the middle. Its advisable to get an oven thermometer and check your oven is getting up to the temperature you have set it on, if you going to bake. Some ovens are hotter and some cooler

  3. here in the US there is self rising flour in the UK etc. self raising. Big difference. I tried a recipe and it completely failed even though I tried to compensate for the UK style flour. I found online that we have to add baking soda. OMG, it was awful. Your cake looked delicious.

  4. Bless you Nick for helping Cindy Vine sort out her water issues. Your resourcefulness, handy person skills and generous heart are gifts that are no doubt recognized and valued by your circle of family and community. That cake looked really yummy Andrea, and I was drooling to get a taste.

By the way, I thought the light fixture looked cool😎 Did you ever figure out why the plaster cracked? Let us know…

Tchau Tchau from Canada…..making my way to Portugal hopefully 2023

  5. Would never have guessed it was a light shade , Thought it was something for chooks or turkeys or may be shelving. Boiled fruit cake yumm!!!! always nice when the middle is a little soft.

  6. Just watched Cindy Vines latest video and I was blown away by your loving kindness by giving Cindy the water carrier for her van and the pump along with the solar set up…you and Andrea are truly blessed people who bless others…..we have been followers of your channel since its beginning and can't get enough…bless you two…

  7. I love your creativity. Did not even get close to figuring out what you are doing. Looks great! So nice of you to share your skills with your neighbors. Building a nice community. Lots of love.

  8. I love that you become a part of so many other YouTubers lives. They learn so much from you..
My husband is a fruit cake fiend as well. 🤣🤣
    Cheers from Australia 🌸🌸🇦🇺

  9. Hi Nick and Andrea. So glad you met up with Alex I've been watching him and his dad since they came on line. He's a great lad, getting on with the work and isn't afraid to ask for help or advice. Sorry Nick your plaster went funny heat, humidity etc affects most things. Crack filling is an art getting the mortar just right,Henry is a good vac,so easy to clean out. Ange I have made the boil and bake cake it is more moist , I leave it I the oven after I've switched it off. Will be trying your pickled eggs when I get home. Left a heatwave and came home to another one……stay safe guys use your plunge pool.

  10. Alex is a VERY brave guy! That is a lot of work, thank god he has so much support from you and the rest of the community. I sure he will be a huge success.

  11. Well done for helping Cindy out Nick – what a lovely thing to do. We had our pool built last summer in this sort of heat and had to continually wet the concrete – probably easiest to do the rest of the painting when there is no possibility of it drying out too quickly or just spray it like our builders did if it needs to be done urgently.

  12. Just watched Alex 2 minutes ago Angelina his pet sheep had her haircut I had not seen any of the other buildings on his property so interesting ,great advice on wall nick, the oven ang can be opened half way thru cooking so if top is getting caught just pop foil shiny side up over the top and reflects the heat , and getting caught , I love figs and all the gear you put in it adds meaning to wind in the willows lol👍❤️❤️❤️🙏

  13. Stonemasons terminology for the stone was the pif ,the paf and the pouf.
The pouf is the softness stone infills. I wonder if that's where we get the poofter from in the UK.

  14. Hey Nick, I couldn’t help notice that you seem to have a bit of swelling on the left side of your neck. Have you had that checked out? If not don’t waste time to have someone (physician) examine your neck.
I always enjoy your content. Thanks so very much.
