Here if the person new need to be very careful from kid of this things the first time I came to portugal in this I was use taxi from Lisbon to almada so I realised the price is huge difference so I took taxi and I used my mobile phone map so the taxi driver he don't know it and the driver he go around the planet made the journey very long and he put number 5 in meter so was €41 and he asked to pay for the pay gate the one between Lisbon and almada was total €44 and I had problem with I about to call the police bevery careful here from many this not just taxi drivers
Hello Joric, thanks for the helpful info and advice. How do you find a repairman and/or plumber in Portugal? Are there yellow pages with phone numbers or you simply do a Google search online? Also, what's the emergency phone number (ex. 911 in the U.S.) in Portugal? As always, thanks for the speedy update on the current events in Portugal & Europe.
Thanks for this excellent video! I have seen or read several people complain about the slow response of repair and service people in Portugal, but was suspicious they were simply "ugly Americans (or Brits)." Certainly, they have never had to deal with home repair or service people in smaller towns or communities in the U.S. or Britain. I really appreciate your honest assessments of Portugal. Can't wait to arrive!
