Hmmm my preference is the Philippines why because i have homes there already . 2 its a humble passive kind people and culture. If i were to pick another it would be the country side of Italy beautiful and cheap forget Rome to crowded but stay away from Mexico try it you'll see why

I love the retire abroad videos which offer great value for those looking to enhance there golden years. I have a difficult time with the young digital nomads that have figured out they can monetize f@$!ing off but don’t have any substance or experience worth listening to. All I can say is good luck.

I agree with Kristin’s comments about finding the country that you like. I’ve done my share of traveling in 60 years. As a retiree I traveled to Berlin for the 2nd time and really liked the place thinking it had a compatible vibe to the San Francisco Bay Area where I was currently living at the time. The following year however, as Kristin said, as soon as I stepped off the plane I loved Bangkok, Thailand and thought that this was I place I could move to and 2 years later I did move here.

I remember reading somewhere of an American living in the Philippines who just built his dream home. The next person to buy the property next door was a neighbor from hell. He was into cockfighting and had a bunch of cockrels. He seemed to have karaoke night every evening, which made it impossible to sleep. Like they say, buyer beware? 😆 🤣 😂

Love the videos! Keep them coming. I am leaving the USA in a few months and moving to Thailand. Quitinng my job, retiring early, will be living off rental income from the States with 15 rental properties. Thamks for the inspiration.

We plan to visit at least a handful of countries in early retirement and we may always rent. After a bad experience buying a place in Costa Rica decades ago, it scares me to buy out of the US.

We leave for so many reasons. I spent almost 20 years of my early adult life overseas. Now that I’ve reached retirement, the fever is back. I’ve a burning desire to leave the contentious life of the US behind. Happiness is now having wealth and the time to travel.

Most people in the USA are scared to death of the world. Afraid of the difference in society and culture. Would never consider moving away from Walmart or their what they consider normal.

I found her boring. I saw the WHY in Why they are leaving America had no other info then as and example "I want to Travel". To me nothing but "Glittering Generalities". To have some detailed info requires a knowledge of crime, economics and who is doing what to whom in politics unbiased. Look at China where there are bank runs and tanks stopping them. Bail-in in Greece. As a scientist with patents in electronics one thing that I saw years ago was how convoluted the world of economics was as well as a different language. So what is the foundation as to Why they (people) are leaving America? The people in Japan have a clue as Japan is in a Weimar state. The true Why is surfacing daily. In the economic world facing America is the US DEBT CLOCK that is unfunded at 170 TRILLION. In economics how many people in America understand QE, QT, GDP, CPI, Bail-IN, and are we in a Weimar state? In the top 50 cities in America with the highest crime rates why are only two of those cities run by Republican mayors? On-line data. WHY? Is America in a stagflation condition and what does that mean. All the above is WHY many men are leaving and going to the Philippines to some extent. Why the Philippines? Why are so many Americans moving to Texas and Florida? Research and one will KNOW THE WHYS! Why do the schools not teach OHMS LAW and Positive Temperature Coefficients in Metals so the public could understand that the electrical system as it now stands can not supply the current to charge millions of electric cars as the electrical system. IT"S CALLED AN EDUCATION.
