Hi Guys!
Welcome to this weeks video. Sorry for the delayed release, technical issues.
On this video we answer a lot of your questions, sent to us over the last 6 months. We will be touching on various subjects that have to do with the Azores and our experience living the island life.
We will discuss various subjects such as: Climate, Real Estate, Quality of Life, Cost of living, Expats, Business opportunities, Safety, Crime, and much more.
We believe that the Azores checks most of the boxes. We also feel that based on our experience it’s an area of the planet that should be considered to live, retire or to just have a vacation island home.

Looks like some of my cousins are part of the expats at the table👍
São Jorge.
Thanks Carlos and Laura, for the effort and quality you both put into these videos. Regarding the Residence Visa process for expatriating to Azores, can you tell us if all the Portuguese government entities needed for the in-person parts are local on the islands or would people have travel to the mainland for any parts of the process?
Great video and the information about the island and explaining speaking English , culture, government, taxes, night live, fantastic also your small tour groups around the triangle islands great idea keep promoting our islands you and Laura should be our spokespersons to the Azores great video enjoy it cheers guys
All I really want is a rocking chair at the end of the pier in Lajes Do Pico.
February is a good month to go to the islands, me and my wife were there for the whole month we loved it. And it was very cheap.
Great, informative video. I have only been to Sao Miguel (which I loved) and would love to live there one day or on one of the other islands. My kids would be up for it but my wife is not so sure. She is Asian American and fears that she'd stand out a lot in an otherwise homogeneous community. I'd be curious how much ethnic diversity you see on Pico and the other Central Islands. I know Portugal has a pretty good history of being a multiracial country (your prime minister is half-Indian, after all), but to what extent does that extend to the islands?
Great video, I’m looking at property all the time in the Azores. I’m cleaning out the house because one thing I’ve learnt is the less you can take with you the better when moving to the Azores cause shipping will cost a lot, you might want to add that to your expat course.
Hi guys, another great video. Alot of great information.
