If you live in a big city or town, chances are some of the food deliveries you have received were brought to you on an e-bike. But the pricey electric bikes have also become a hot target for thieves. To see how bad the problem is, Inside Edition rented a sleek, $2,000 electronic bike from NYC Adventure eBike Tours. We hid two GPS devices in the bike, and Inside Edition Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero locked it to a stop sign post. Just 10 minutes later, a man strolled up, ripped off the cable lock and rode away.

"Who stole my bike", she was expecting someone to say me.
i use a normal bicycle for food delivery
I’m one of the lucky ones. I deliver for a living and came out, and found the idiot with a grinder going, so I grabbed my extra 6 lb chainlock from my bag and whipped the bike, and told him the next would be going across his face, if he didn’t get the phuck out of there. I also wear a kevlar vest, just in case.
Shouldn't they have trackers?
