शांत, सुरक्षित आणि उच्च दर्जाचं जीवन जगायला तुम्ही ज्या अमेरिकेत जाऊन स्थायिक होण्याचं स्वप्नं बघताय, त्याच अमेरिकेचे नागरिक आणि तिथले स्थायिक लोक गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून अमेरिकेला रामराम ठोकून युरोपात स्थायिक होत आहेत. आणि अलीकडच्या काळात ही संख्या ४५% नी वाढलीय. पोर्तुगाल, स्पेन, जर्मनी, ग्रीस, नेदर्लंड्स, फ्रान्स, इटली आणि स्वित्झर्लंड या युरोपातल्या देशांना अमेरिकी लोकांची जास्त पसंती मिळतेय.

अमेरिकेत महागाई इतकी वाढलीय की एक प्रशस्त नव्हे तर अगदी साधं सुधं घर जरी तिथे घ्यायचं असेल तर त्याची किंमत भारतीय रुपयांमध्ये होते अंदाजे सव्वा तीन कोटी रुपये. इतकी महागडी घरं घेणं, घरासाठी लोन घेणं, त्याचे हफ्ते भरणं आता अमेरिकेच्या नागरिकांनाही जड जायला लागलंय. होम लोन, ट्रॅव्हलिंग, घरखर्च यालाच पगार पुरत नाही. बेघर होणाऱ्या लोकांची संख्या अमेरिकेत वाढतेय. बरं भाड्याने घर घेऊन राहायचं तर घरभाडं ही ६% नी वाढलंय. म्हणून तेही न परवडणारं झालंय.

अमेरिकेतल्या medical treatments इतक्या महाग आहेत की सामान्य अमेरिकी माणूस त्या afford नाही करू शकत. त्या afford करण्यासाठी त्याला insurance हा काढावाच हागतो. त्या insurance चा हफ्ता ही महाग झालाय. म्हणजे प्रचंड खर्च करून एकतर insurance काढा नाहीतर डॉक्टरकडे जाऊच नका अशी परिस्थिती तिथे सामान्य अमेरिकी लोकांची झालीय. युरोपात तसं नाही. अमेरिकेच्या तुलनेत युरोपात medical treatments खूप स्वस्त आहेत. बऱ्याचशा युरोपीय देशांचं सरकार आपल्या नागरिकांसाठी वैद्यकीय सेवा निःशुल्क देतं.

अमेरिकी नागरिकास आपल्याजवळ बंदूक बाळगण्याची संपूर्ण सूट आहे. गन कल्चरमुळे अमेरिकेत गुन्हेगारीचं प्रमाणही दिवसेंदिवस वाढत आहे. प्रत्येक जण प्रत्येक कुटुंब स्वतःला असुरक्षित समजायला लागलंय. या गन कल्चरला अमेरिकी जनता आता कंटाळलीय.

अमेरिकी नागरिक अमेरिकेत नोकरी करायलाही कंटाळलेत. अमेरिकेत नोकरी करायला ते आता तयार नाहीत. तिथला Work and Life balance बिघडलाय हे आता त्यांच्या लक्षात आलंय. अमेरिकेत तब्बल ४ कोटी लोकांनी राजीनामे देत नोकऱ्या सोडल्या. जो Work – Life balance अमेरिकेत नाही तो आहे युरोपमध्ये.

Medical treatments in America are so expensive that the common American cannot afford them. He has to take insurance to afford it. That insurance has become very expensive. That is, there is a situation where common Americans have to spend a lot of money and either get insurance or don’t go to the doctor at all. The situation is not so in Europe. Medical treatments are much cheaper in Europe than in America. Governments of many European countries provide free medical services to their citizens.

A US citizen has full freedom to own a gun. Due to the gun culture, the crime rate in America is also increasing day by day. Everyone and every family has started to feel insecure. The American people are tired of this gun culture.

American citizens are also fade up of working in America. They are not ready to work in America anymore. Now they have realised that the work and life balance there has deteriorated. As many as 4 crore people resigned from their jobs in USA. What work-life balance is not in America but is in Europe.
