  1. No Mexico is not getting more Americanized, the Americans are making it more Americanized. The Mexicans in Mexico don’t like Americans moving there because you they are causing gentrification and making it more expensive.

  2. I just got back from Mexico City. I went to Polanco, a wealthy neighborhood in Mexico City. The food there was delicious, lots of cafes, people strolling with their kids, and dogs. Wide sidewalks in great condition, parks, greenery, fountains, just inviting. I can see why people would flock to these neighborhoods.

  3. as someone from stockton, ca. i’m thinking about moving there as well eventually. hopefully by my late 20’s. there’s absolutely nothing here, i got ahold of a job at tesla for 23.10 and medical but it doesn’t amount to anything anymore. if i stay a year i go up to 25.10 but that’s still barely enough for rent even if i commuted from cheaper cities. and owning/buying a place? pshh, yea right. not in this economy

  4. It’s literally happening to the whole world. I have a Vietnamese American relative that’s scouting real estate property in Vietnam to treat as a summer home. They’ll rent it out for tourists in the meantime as they still got kids that goes to school in the US. but they plan to use it whenever they have time. Remember US dollars is going up in recent economic inflation in the world.

  5. Mexico City is a great city but if you are considering moving there make sure to do your homework and research. If you are sensitive and concerned about air quality and pollution this is not the city for you. They filmed this on a rare and clear day which makes the city look clean but it is one of the most polluted major cities in the world.

  6. Remote work but also …. COST OF LIVING + LOW WAGES. It’s unattainable for many young Americans to live in metro cities in America like their parents once did 😞 And now here we are negatively impacting local economies in other countries.
