If the Mexican Government did not allow immigration into (what’s now considered) Texas on a large scale, would Texas still be a part of Mexico ? Seems like an argument for legal controlled immigration. It also seems like an influx of the wealthy or impoverished groups to Portugal both create problems for the country. How do you solve for the issues of a nationalist view Vs a globalist view?
