  1. Oh my, hope your head is ok, Andrea, have Arnica C30 globules for such incidents. Nevertheless you‘ll love that greenhouse. May be hubbie can install shades against strong sunlight later!

  2. That omelette was … what's the word? … different! Delicious looking, but different. I've never made an omelette without adding milk to the eggs, and I've never stirred one whilst cooking but always left it to sit and gently cook until half done, then either tossed it, or put it under the grill to cook the top!
I'm really intrigued by your version and will try it tomorrow morning, sans fresh mushrooms because I have none; maybe sweet peppers and onion, I think, with grated cheddar.

  3. Great job and great reuse of materials. Just curious did you use something like self tapping Tek-Screws to secure the frames together? Just wondering if these type of screws are readily available in PT or if I should pack some for future move.

  4. Cast iron pans are non stick. I switched a few years ago and love them! I now have 2 different skillets and a soup pot. Love the fresh mushrooms and the white cheddar. Pure yum! Wow, its starting to look like a Greenhouse. I'm jealous.

  5. I was thinking that a doorstep outside would have been good – it looks like the ground will get boggy or muddy, or just get walked in to the greenhouse. I thought a semi-circular concrete area might look alright with a slight slope away from the greenhouse to avoid puddles. Also, the water container inside is good but a gutter leading into a water butt on the area by the door that is presently a slope upwards may be good to have.
