After 1 Year In Portugal We LEFT | Madeira Portugal | @It'll Be Fun

We found that we had to Leave. So we finally left the Island of Madeira and traveled to another Island. So we went from cost effective to one of the most expensive cities in the world and did it for $120 for the day. Over the next few videos we will keep a track record going on the costs. Come along and see how we did. It’ll Be fun!

  1. Whatever you do, if you plan to go to Ireland buy a van camp in that and buy food late on Friday evening cheaper as its going out of date, that's the only way you can afford to visit Ireland, I love our country! But dam is it expensive!!

  2. Alright, already! I confess. I've been a lurker for far too long. It's true. Admin Desk admonished me with some veiled comments about my Performance Review blah blah blah, so here I am, owning up for not doing my part and ready to make it right. Subscribing, liking and joining Patreon. We all live vicariously through your adventures. We dwell in the concrete canyons of Manhattan and dream of the day our pensions kick in and we can live your fantastical life. My bags are packed, I'm ready to go. I love your videos and hope you keep fueling our dreams for the escape to come.

  3. Portugal's location to the rest of the world is so desirable to my wife and I. For the same reasons, we wish to be able to travel to so many places affordably. Hope Leslie's finger is healing up OK, believe it was cut a while back? Obrigado.

  4. I’m sad that after months and months of hot, sunny, weather here you arrived to see London on a grey drizzly day. It is such a great city to explore in the sunshine! I enjoy your Madeira videos…..one of my favourite places…..and in passing would like to mention that I think you are just about the best American commentator I have heard on uTube. Your accent reminds me of Alastair Cooke, though it is many years since I have heard his voice.

  5. I lived in London 7 years. Very interesting city. But, as a resident, London is very expensive – the prices for renting or buying properties are very high – public transports are very costly, restaurants, real restaurants, can charge you a fortune. The roads are terribly busy, particularly if you want to go through central areas of the city.

  6. Beautiful places! Smiling faces! It warms our hearts to see such beautiful smiles @:23. Other than that, extremely informative! But a ***QUESTION, PLEASE***… Is there one airline that is considered the most economical to fly in and out of Madeira? For example here in NYC, JetBlue usually offers the best rates even though it's mostly an all-coach airline. We're just astonished that you can go to London so affordably! Someone could basically go once a month if one wanted to! Wining, dining, theatre! Giddyyup!!! Also, hats off for mentioning TrackUsDown. When I was a kid, loved how there was a mash-up between Petticoat Junction and Green Acres. Wouldn't it be neat for you all to connect over cocktails and discuss all of your favorite ins and outs of your new-found European lives? I bet the combined viewers would also get a kick out of that.

  7. Enjoy the UK and London . I lived their from 1999 until 2018 and 19 I did lived 11 years in Scotland a historic town called Linlithgow with a castle and a big lake .I know very well Scotland and the small islands and their fishing towns and villages they are beautiful the houses are full of colour . And in 2012 returned back to England a place called Darlington and I know pretty well the North of the UK and some parts of the South .But for me home is Sintra where I live in the historic center and no going back to live in UK only to visiting . Enjoy

  8. It’s so cost effective to travel once you’re in Europe to other European Countries. Of course I say this because I’m in the USA and air travel to Europe is usually expensive. Anyways, enjoyed the video. Glad to hear Leslie loves spreadsheets just as much as I do!! 😂😉

  9. Glad that you got to get out and venture on your travel plans. London is of course a great city with lots of attractions. Last time i went was in 78 and definitely due for an update visit with all the new things since then. Your Vlogs of course will come in handy for our travel to London in the near future. Have Fun in London!
