Akuntsu (Full Documentary)

Our cameras are the first to travel to Rondonia, a dangerous place in the heart of the Amazon. In this setting, we will witness the bloody conflict between natives and landowners for possession of the land. Alongside the six members of one of the smaller ethnic groups involved, the Akuntsu, our team carried out a study, revealing the web of political and financial interests engaged in this conflict. This is definitely a document of both journalistic and anthropological value, delving into the present-day world of Amazonia

  1. Its avarice greed and hate that motivates these wealthy land owners including that governor. Those remaining jungle duelers are the dying last of their indigenous breed about to become totally extinct. They have had their relatives in the past killed off and now their being documented as the last of their respective tribe on the verge of extinction. Those that benefit from the Amazonian land and its natural resources are probably most excited now that in one way of another they'll be able to make use of some more of that land. No different than the trail of tears in North America when Indians were forced out of their lands and driven to reservation lands and forced to live their after almost eliminated to the point of extinction. Now days any person of indigenous ancestry in the Americas is still looked upon with the stigma of disdain. The white descendants of the European conquerers settlers have continued to demoralize their conquered Indian descendants by promoting poverty, crime and selected places of living and god forbid any of indigenous Indian decent from moving to a first world country of the free world tp live because it's not allowed. Immigration policies proves that fact and meanwhile people complain about the brown citizens of the world moving into their homelands, taking their jobs, destroying white peoples way of life, the cost of maintaining and supporting them etc,. It's beyond belief when one turns on a documentary on YouTube that relates to far right extremist views and their militias that promote fascist nazi ideology of white supremacy of someday annihilating all the subhuman people animals from the entire planet. Its like watching this documentary. Eventually only the white race willremain no doubt and then whites will only have the task of making the best of earths land without the burden of its original descended natives.

  3. Two different mentalities,. One that build structures that are designed to be seen, they go to extreme lengths to create such conditions without the protective equipment to stop their lungs from filling up with particles of dust, The other wish to have no visible impact on their environment, their existence is not something they need to be known at all. Are we to believe that their values are the measure of their intelligence and ability or the lack there of?

One thing is apparent, the ancient civilisations that built structures purposely to be seen are no longer here. Without assumptions and without allowing ourselves to be fed information, abstractly these are the only obvious facts. To form a true picture one must take into consideration all relevant information so lets jump forwards in time to more recent examples of civilisation.

Modern human dwellings have been built with another set of values entirely, asbestos structural materials , lead alloy water piping, arsenic infused interior paint, and a wide range of other poisonous substances in our food and environment like DDT fertilisers. It seems history before us and in our present time is proving that our desire to advance without acquiring the knowledge of what can cause us harm first has been a universal threat to humanity throughout all of human history.

Are we the Guinee pigs of an experiment to acquire the knowledge of all the potential threats this world has to offer? Without making any assumptions at all the obvious truth is that humanity seems determined to continue running before we learn to walk, this has been a universal truth since the first examples of our strive to build civilisation right up to present times. No lesson has been learnt from the mistakes of the past, we continue to experiment on each other from a position of ignorance regardless.

Is this approach a must, do we develop at an accelerated rate from a position of ignorance or go bust? The question is are we able to create civilisation without spreading the risks of developing knowledge of potential threats throughout the entire population, and can civilisation still develop and advance from this point forward with a higher consciousness than the mentalities ushering us to experiment on each other to achieve???
