Why u don't say prices 😕
Funny comparisons with BMW… the sound of a door closing is literally a targeted engineering factor. Mazda didn't waste money on it. Here in the states we'd consider how much you get for your money and what would it cost to keep it maintained. Start looking at them logically and it's a no brainer.
I wonder how different the CX-70 will be for the North American market. This seems wide enough and big enough for almost everyone, but companies always seem to assume that customers in North America want something larger. But, they're not making a pickup truck, so I really don't know why it needs to be any wider.
What grade/octane of fuel does this require?
So Mazda put outdated chrome lines on the 3 and 6 and blacks it all out on their SUV…. "Logic"
We don't have a CX 70 in the US, A CX 50 we done but looks nothing like this. The rear kind of looks like a Toyota Highlander
Great review! Where is it? 🙏🏻
Interesting option in that category. However, I still prefer a station wagon over an SUV.
(The „here“ count is a bit high though 😉)
It's a pretty impressive car, but i wish they would not have cancelled the RWD Mazda 6 over this. And i have to say – it is missing a lot of features, to be competing with the X3, Q5 and GLC. No ambient lighting options, no customization for the dash (i mean, why do i need it to be all digital, if i can't even reconfigure it? BMW has the same issue though…) and some other little things, like that gear leaver (having had various mercedes for a very long time that automatically shift to P when i turn it off has been a god send..), no massage seats (in fact, not even more ergonomic settings for the lumbar support and thigh support)…and it's going to be 60k at top spec, that's not necessarly in the "premium space".
The interior reminds me a lot of my CX-30, which is the best part of these cars, in my opinion. I do like the exterior design of the CX-60, and RWD bias is interesting on AWD models. This was a great, in-depth review!
I'm overjoyed there's no unpainted black plastic around wheel and bottom, imo that's what makes it stand out from all the other SUVs right now.
Produce a high gas mileage affordable car! You'll sell out!
Such a great looking car. Can't wait for the review on the i6 engine.
I really like your reviews. Looking forward to seeing the cx90 reviews. Will decide then if I will go for it or just keep my cx9
This car looks very cheap 🤦♂️
Very cheap inside
Mazda is a company I can always root for. They are small but still refuse to follow the trends, create an excellent design, use good materials and starting to have good tech for a reasonable price. Something unique, something that can make me excited for a car in the lower price ranges. Even if they have weird models (like the MX-30) or the rust issue (although thay should be fixed by now). Can't wait for their rotary hybrids.
I love Mazda❤️👍🇵🇱
Not a fan of Mazda, but this new generation of CX-50, CX-60(70 ?) looks fresh and practical. Great review.
Going RWD is a good move for Mazda to seperate them from Japanese and Korean market. And thier design language also work way better with a RWD platform on the side view
nice!!
Thanks for your throughout review! How is the road noise/soundproofing compared to for example Volvo XC60 or BMW X3?
WEIRD HEADLAMP.
What’s this man’s jaw routine though
The silhouette screams BMW. I mean I don't blame Mazda, it looks good but Jeez lol.
We had Mazda in the top spot on our list last time we were car shopping. But then we found the cabin (Mazda 6) was surprisingly small, too cramped. Watching the video I still feel this is the case. And then also I would appreciate if Thomas could add the arse/pillar-swab-test: Enter the car and let the viewer know if your backside touches the b-pillar (front seat) or c-pillar (when entering backseats). We refuse buying cars where you automatically swab any of the pillars with your trousers when entering the cabin. Unfortunately that was the case with all Mazda models we tested 2 years ago (also a BMW phenomenon).
