  1. You should have been there Heath you were one of the Best natural Left Backs that the 🇺🇸 has every produced, you could have definitely competed with Hejduk, Beasley & Bocanegra for that spot, Bornstein still plays but he was never special to me nor did he have that it factor on the attack

  2. From a 4.5 decade supporter/follower of my beloved USMNT, who has watched every game available, and been to 7 world cup finals games of my beloved USMNT and more qualifiers and Gold Cup games than I can remember. This podcast has become the best podcast on the USMNT ever. You guys do a fantastic job. You bare your souls and share your experiences. You have great guests. You have fun lighthearted banter yet share perspectives on serious issues. Keep up this great work and keep it going — keep it growing. This can be a fantastic resource for us supporters to see the humanity in our heroes.

    Thank you!

  3. One of the best things about this Youtube channel / podcast is how honest the three of you are. All of you are able to tell stories that sometimes don't make you look like the mostest, bestest, smartest player ever. I often see ex-players, no matter the sport, talk as if they had done everything they now prescribe for current players. Another great thing is that you often bring up is how competing for the USMNT ( US mutant ninja turtles) effected those around you. One thing that I don't like about current sport analysis is the idea that players are their stats and so therefore they are basically cogs that can be rearranged. I think it is a overreaction to older sports journalism mantras that success only happens if the players care enough or have HEART!! Numbers can be really important, but which numbers does the management choose to put weight in. Anyways, Great job! I try to catch all of your episodes:}

  4. Brooks goal against Ghana in 2014. 2021 Nations league final against Mexico which definitely turned the tide and marked the road that we are on right now. 2022 World Cup is gona be another one, I can feel it!!!

  5. The build up between Charlie Davies and Landon Donovan that lead to the goal that Donovan scored in the Confederations Cup game against Brazil is probably my favorite USMNT moment.

  6. That Portugal game was awesome. I watched that game before going to work in my first real job in NYC. It was a wonderful surprise. Not just because they won but how good they looked doing it. That match was the set up for the knock out game later on that made a lot of Mexican fans cry. Peak McBride, Reyna, Donovan, Sanneh! The USMNT breaking Spain's unbeaten streak in 2009 Confed Cup was amazing as well.

  7. Thanks for opening up about your injury Charlie. I was wearing your jersey in DC, and was pulling for you to make that World Cup squad. It was awesome to see you continue to play, and so glad you’re staying involved in the game commenting, doing podcasts, etc.!

  8. In ‘94 I was 9 and I fell in love with the game, had my heart broken in France 98 but 2002 was amazing and it gave me hope that we can compete at the highest level.
