Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

  1. I love watching your videos! I wait each week to see if there is a new one. I can't wait to see the future video of the inside of your home! Thinking of Bee and praying she's improving every day. We all miss you Bee! We miss the Theo/Bee team so much. Also miss the Barn home, the goat's, chickens, cats, and the vegetable garden too!

  2. You should consider taking down the tree that burned, and make some sort of decorative piece for your new home. Well done, Theo. There is so much work to do.. pace yourself, mate. I know if your subs were there, we would form a clean up army of epic proportions and get things policed up post haste! Right folks?! Much love to you and Bee from beautiful and FINALLY FIRE FREE Southern Oregon! 👍❤️🌲

  3. Your new property is a lot like you two. It's been through something horrible that has set it back. But it, like you, has all the resources it needs to rebuild and rejeuvenate itself: strength, will, and the life earth provides. The land is probably feeling a little battered and broken too. But that won't stop it from regrowing. You two can do this. It will take a boat load of energy and determination, but just like the land, you will recover.

  4. Looking good 😃 I´m sure this will be a butifull place some day. Keep up the good work. And give Bee a big hug and let her know that we all love her (and you too😉)

  5. I was just thinking you should have used that to start a compost pile. That stuff was full of mineral’s I’m sure. Thanks for sharing about yourself I am sure everyone like myself knows now much you have accomplished and how difficult it must have been for you. When I was your age I was still running around like a goofy kid chasing girls while now I sit here wishing I was more mature back then and built a homestead much like you. Now at 73 I know it is to late for me. Don’t miss understand me I can tell you some great stories but be happy your not a late bloomer.

  6. So pleased to see you taking positive steps to resolve some of the issues caused by the fire and flooding. You will get there, and be able to enjoy your new farm soon. I’m sure lots of it will recover quickly and in the spring you will see lots of recovery. Being positive will help you both get through this. Give Bee a hug from us, and I hope she is keeping busy gardening as that will help x

  9. Watching you work Theo I so much wanted to grab a shovel and give you a hand! All power to you and the property. I thank you for sharing your life with us through thick and thin. The quality of the videos is really good with variety of angles and viewpoints spaced in around the actual work. You are also inspiring us to focus on what can be done in our own lives rather than losing time over what is beyond our control. Like you I cannot wait to see the lake gradually fill up! All the best. May you two be surrounded by the effects of our prayers and goodwill.

  10. You're doing an amazing job, Theo. I know you must have a lot on your mind right now. I'm sure if you needed help people would come out or support you however they can. Take care of yourself!

  14. Bless you, Theo, your industrious, positive, and problem solving qualities are well suited to all the work that needs doing. You got so much done on your own in just one day. And i'm so relieved to see you wearing protective footwear better suited to the work there. Praying you're sent help as it looks as though there's enough work for dozens of workers for weeks and weeks. 🙏🏼

  15. Theo you are the hardest working guy I know! Your farm will bounce back – stay positive! I am a senior and set backs will happen all your life. You must keep moving forward.
