Usually, over 3 million tourists visit the wider Algarve region of Portugal each year. But, during this pandemic, I had it mostly to myself! 😎 Visit Alvor! It’s easy to reach because it’s beside Portimão (Portimao). You can drive there or get a bus from the Portimão Train Station straight to the restaurants, bars, cafes and hotels of Alvor.

It’s a great place to go hiking, try kyaking, go sailing, do skydiving, enjoy local food, and do some shopping. The cliffs and beaches of Alvor are simply world-class locations for sunset photography, travel video, and vlogging. You’ll see beautiful yachts, including cruising sailing boats too!
