An AUTUMN day on our Off Grid Goat Farm – Central Portugal Homestead – lunch out with a good friend.

This week on quinta Fonte da Pipa Alex fixes a broken part on the tractor bucket and we take you out on a beautiful rainy day to get water from the local fonte.
A good friend takes us for lunch at a new restaurant to us all and we had a lovely meal.
The seed Alex planted last week for the goats is already growing thanks to the great weather in Central Portugal.

  1. Oh that’s what I definitely need to learn some being in Portugal couple of weeks ago on my own and didn’t know a word using Google translator . And I don’t to brilliantly in crowds of people I can’t even walk into a Cath on my own I Panic not good. but I think it might just say the wrong word 🙈🤣 I will be back there next week to see my lawyer and get paperwork done for some land hopefully I’ve got as there seems to be a bit of a mess about here take care great video

  2. Hi guys, hope the lessons were good, great to learn about the history of your area. It's very beautiful, and you have good eateries in your area. Nice to see yous all out chilling and enjoying life. The grass is greening nicely and the job list starts again as it's cooler to work in. Stay safe all.

  3. Happy Dogs🐕🐕💚.
Yes Alex,I reckon you could chop down the 2 Eucalyptus, fire hazard . Have to keep the tractor going👍.
Wonderful to see Sandra. And visitors too💚. Makes me feel happy for you all.

  4. This was a really nice episode! 'Papa figos' actually means 'Fig eater'. The verb papar is more of a colloquial verb, meaning 'to eat'. Papas is also another word meaning a 'gruel' or 'porridge' of some kind. Have fun with the Portuguese lessons. I was born in Portugal 🐓 What is the name of your village? It's so pretty ~

  5. It's amazing how the landscape and nature in your region turned green so fast after the rains. Those papa figos are such pretty birds! Hopefully there are enough figs left on that tree for your guys!

  6. So good to see you looking well and seeing you three together. Hope you enjoyed your Portuguese class. Look forward to what you can share of future classes. I like tagging along with you guys, even to get water in the rain. The grounds and dappled light through the tree canopy around the chapel and springs were lovely, as was the sound of the rain. Hurrah for the clever & much stronger tractor lock fix! What a lovely drive and spot you found for lunch, thanks to your kind workaways Sean & young man.

  7. Hazel ☘️ …
Well done Sandra … I am determined to learn Portuguese … your guy sounds great 👍 … hope he is blessed with patience 😂

I knew they’d lock you up one day Alex 😂

… I’m the first … I think (but cheated, need to watch all of the vlog now 😊)
    🙏☘️😘
