Angra do Heroismo Terceira Island The Azores Portugal Part 1 We take a pre Christmas trip to Terceira Island on the new winter schedule direct flight from Toronto to Terceira Island, Tina and Norman were met by the Minister of Tourism at Lajes International Airport and welcomed to the Island. This is a tourist initiative of Azores Getaways, The Azores Government And Azores Airlines owned by Sata Airlines.
We spent a great week exploring the cities and historic architectures of Angra do Heroismo and Praia Vittoria. It was great to see the Christmas Decorations in the Praça Velha square outside the Town Hall of Angra do Heroismo. Result for the upgrade! I had business class upgrade once on a long haul to NYC on AA from London for just £180. Sold! Well worth it if you can stretch out and relax. Especially long hauls. Always pays to ask on check in day. You look like you had so much fun x

Last time i travelled for work i got stuck at the airpirt for 9 hours because our plane broke down on the runway and we had to get off and wait for a new plane. Hey Tina and Norm! Awesome that you're at Terceira Island in Portugal. Didn't you guys go to Portugal before and then take a cruise back to Canada? That's cool that you got upgraded to business class and got to enjoy the lounge. Nice food choices and always good for some free food and drink. Your hotel was really nice and love the hallways with all the trees on the wall. Your room looked really cool and had a nice bathroom. We were wondering how long your flight was to get there?
