I’m a Greek American and it makes me so happy to see your family loving my motherland. I cackled when you said “Greek people stare, it’s their culture” I think it’s spot on. Many people don’t know any black people and only know what American movies show them. They’re curious mostly
I really loved this informative video. I am now considering Greece for myself. Thanks for sharing your experience and I wish you much success in your endeavors.
Did y’all get the stroller back
How did you get health care for yo and the kids?
You guys are amazing. Thank you for this! It honestly makes me really consider what life might be like outside the US. I'm not in the same situation, I'm on the other end of kids (two kids in high school), but we're thinking about retirement, and what it might be like to not have to work so hard. I look forward to hearing more about your journey. Congrats, and I wish you all the best!
I love yalls personality and dynamic! I had to subscribe I’m gonna watch all of the videos lol
This is awesome thanks for sharing! Such a beautiful family! Can you share your natural, unmedicated birthing process with us if you’re comfortable? I would really love to hear it and I’m sure others would as well!
What tax implications do you have working from home with a US company in a foreign land? Do you pay taxes to US and Greece?
Love your content! For Homeschooling definitely check out Acellus Academy! They are accredited and more so give material for parents. Virtual learning with tools to help monitor child’s progress. My daughter is going on year 2 with the academy courses
This was so helpful!! I am looking to leave the US for the EU and I have three kids (7, 4 and 2). Our goal is to spend the summer of 2023 in either Greece or Italy to get a feel for living there. Both my husband and I hope to telecommute to our US based jobs and work east coast hours. My biggest hurdle is education for my kids since I will not be able to home school.
This video has been so inspiring. Thank you for sharing your family’s journey!
So grateful for this! You have no idea! Thank you kindly!
It is so sad that the United States of America is the most racist place on the face of the earth. I’m so sorry you had to leave. But I’m so glad you got the fuck out of here.
I appreciate you answering all these questions! I am inspired to hear your thoughtful perspective for embracing a new culture, how you plan to raise and educate your beautiful family in a safe environment, and of course the food! We are older and our kids are older, but we are trying to navigate our next steps. Lots of love and can't wait to follow your adventures 💕
Before i even watch the video i want to welcome you to greece!! hope you like it here <3
"Greece has one of the best health systems in the world".
Oh boy,as a greek living here i hope you don't put that to the test. Don't get me wrong, greek doctors are as good as anywhere in the world, but the state of public hospitals is embarrassing. Of course it is free unlike america. lack of beds, long waiting hours, underpaid and overworked staff ,it really is a mess and people that should live lose their life because of all this. Knowing someone greek with a connection or using your American citizenship are your best tools for better treatment. Of course there are private hospitals too.
What cute lil name🤔🤔???
Hello beautiful family good job many love for lil one🥰🤗🇵🇰💓💓💟♥️
you guys should go to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens
I can't help but just look at your adorable baby! She's sooo cute!!! Baby fever!!!
Love you guy!!!!
Your baby is sooo good!! Look at her just chillin’
I think you guys have the best frame of mind!! Seriously, my husband and I are thinking of relocating to Athens. I’d love to be friends. As far as the racist thing. I’m scared to not only send my black daughter to her friends house, I’m terrified to send her to school. Look at our school system here and the school shootings. Here in the US, you have 3 options, private, public or homeschool where you are not supported and you’re still chained to the US school system and book. You guys are amazing!! Can’t wait for our little family to start our journey.
Oh I almost forgot. I’m currently pregnant. 11 weeks. Do you think I should wait to have my baby? How are the pediatricians there?
Love this! It is VERY informative and I thank you for taking the time to make this video. I fell in love with Greece after my first visit and I always look forward to going back. I have visited different countries but none of them were as alluring to me than Greece, it was an instant love. Your description of the culture, vibe, food, etc. is on point and you also educated me on a few things I didn't know (visas, healthcare, etc.) especially when I plan on living there for a while in a few years. I look forward to seeing more content on your experiences living abroad.
Tell me about the seafood please ?
This was so helpful and inspiring! My husband and I would love to relocate ourselves and 2 kids to a European country sometime soon and everything you had to say makes that endeavor seem much less intimidating! I’ll definitely be following along and taking notes.
Thank you for making this video it answered so much!!
Babygirl is tooo cute!
About the poor boy that was beaten to death while on vacation here (that was in 2017 i think) the murderer was actually Serbian, not Greek. Another 6 of his friends, Serbian and Greek, also chased the victim down the streets. It was tragic anyhow, but it was not a racist murder. They were drunk and argued about a girl. Toxic masculinity at its best.
Enjoy your new life here guys!
